Mr. Hunt is a Vice President in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Public Institutions group. He brings over 10 years experience to the Jones Lang LaSalle team. His focus areas include program and project management, development strategy, asset management strategy, market and feasibility studies, and structuring and oversight of public-private partnerships.

Mr. Hunt serves as lead advisor on privatization projects for both public and private sector clients, and has overseen a large and diverse portfolio of projects both nationally and internationally. Most recently, Mr. Hunt has served as the principal advisor to the City of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the adaptive reuse of its former airport. He has also served as the leader for two of the US Army’s newest initiatives. He led the negotiations on behalf of the Army for the first private sector development for single soldiers (Fort Drum, NY). This project included not only negotiating a development deal for the Army, but also realizing a workable solution for public and private sector entities through a complex regulatory process. Also, Mr. Hunt led on behalf of the Army the development of a financing, operations, and construction plan for the joint housing privatization of an Air Force base and Army post in Tacoma, Washington.

Mr. Hunt has lived abroad extensively in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and has worked with many of the firm’s global clients. He also serves as the principle advisor to the City of Washington, DC and the City of Baltimore, MD, for the privatization structuring of several large redevelopment parcels. His primary role has been leading market and feasibility studies, valuations, sourcing and negotiating with development teams, and advising on project financing.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as Investments Manager for a large publicly traded multifamily Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), managing portfolio acquisition and disposition processes, and completing $250 million in transactions. He also previously was the Business Development manager for an industrial construction and commercial services firm.
